- In response to the 2018 Farm Bill and President Biden's Executive Order on 1/22/21, the USDA Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) is currently in the process of re-evaluating the Thrifty Food Plan, which is the basis for the calculation of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance (SNAP) benefits. APHSA has provided this commentary for consideration during the re-evaluation process (June 28, 2021)
