POLICY

Eligibility

States seeking to take advantage of the opportunities to streamline their eligibility and enrollment systems for Medicaid, the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and/or state-based Health Insurance Exchanges in conjunction with their human services programs will need to consider a variety of issues and potential policy changes required for effective planning and implementation. Part of the charge of the Collaborative is to assist in identifying and making recommendations for federal and state governmental agencies to consider to facilitate modernization and integration efforts. This section of the website highlights National Collaborative publications and products relating to eligibility as well as updates on new and/or revised regulations and guidance from federal departments and agencies.
