The Center for Employment & Economic Well-Being (CEEWB) works to connect with our partners, and assist them in connecting with one another, in achieving our goals. We endeavor to facilitate communication and collaboration across the human services, workforce development, economic development, and education fields in order to support a more integrated system for workforce engagement. The CEEWB encourages conversations and relationship building, and facilitating the exchange of information within and across disciplines through webinars and web discussions, convenings, and toolkits for engaging various stakeholders.
The Center disseminates biweekly E-Updates which include announcements about events, opportunities, and other items of interest. If you would like to be added to the CEEWB E-Updates listserve, contact Kerry Desjardins at firstname.lastname@example.org.
CEEWB brings stakeholders together through in-person and virtual meeting to exchange insights and ideas. Advisory committee members and guests from our peer community frequently give brief presentations during our monthly virtual meetings. It is a great way to share our work with one another and stay informed about the latest innovations in our field. CLICK HERE to find materials from some of these presentations.
Beginning in 2015 in partnership with National Association of State TANF Administrators (NASTA) leadership, CEEWB manages a TANF Reauthorization Work Group made up of state and local TANF administrators, leaders of related programs, policy analysts, non-profit organizations, and others focused on progressing a comprehensive agenda for TANF reform and reauthorization.
In 2016, CEEWB and the American Association of SNAP Directors (AASD) began a SNAP Modernization Work Group focused on modernizing the SNAP program and developing policy recommendations to the new Congress and Administration as they begin to consider the next farm bill and the future of SNAP.
