APHSA partners with organizations that share our goal of enabling individuals, families and communities to reach their full potential and be well. APHSA seeks strategic partnerships that help the health and human services community move toward a modern, outcome-based, client-centered system that is designed to strengthen families, create opportunities for sustained economic independence and increase the overall health and well-being of all Americans.
Partner organizations play an important role in educating and engaging APHSA members, funding initiatives that positively affect the health and human services community and augmenting APHSA’s policy and program positions and strategies. APHSA partners include:
APHSA partners with other nonprofit organizations that support the health and human services community. Partnerships include associations that have direct engagement with public H/HS agencies and community based organizations that deliver services to individuals, families and communities and/or augment service delivery for public H/HS agencies.
APHSA partners with several organizations to conduct and disseminate research that studies ways to improve programs and practices that lead to a modern, responsive health and human services system that meets the needs of our rapidly changing society. These projects are rooted in the core belief that all of us should have the opportunity to live healthy lives and be well regardless of where we live, what are histories are, or what our life experiences have been.
Academia plays an important role in the H/HS system. Higher learning institutions develop and conduct impactful research into specific H/HS programs and policies and the effects that these programs and policies have on individuals, families and communities. Several APHSA Affinity Group Executive Advisory Councils include members from the academic community.
Strategic Industry Partners
APHSA Strategic Industry Partners are organizations that share our values of creating a modern H/HS system that leads to stronger, healthier individuals, families and communities. These partners are actively involved in helping to shape national policies that positively affect human serving agencies by working with APHSA and our members on specific issues which benefit from private sector input and support. Our Partners are engaged members of the H/HS community – supporting and working with APHSA’s three Collaborative Centers on policy initiatives, attending and speaking at conferences and events, hosting informative discussions that benefit H/HS leaders and acting as a transformative force to bring positive change to the broader H/HS community.
