Through APHSA’s National Council of Local Services Administrators (Local Council), health, housing, and human services leaders are working on the ground to advance sound policy and practice – together generating solutions that are building thriving communities across the country. We are “building well-being from the ground up.”
The Local Council and Mecklenburg County’s Health and Human Services agency is pleased to invite you to join county and city health, housing, and human services (H/HS) agencies from across the country for an engaging 2-day retreat in Mecklenburg County, N.C. The retreat will:
• Provide a forum for Local executives to exchange knowledge and experiences, cultivate leadership skills, and accelerate learning;
• Work across a social determinants of health, well-being and equity frame, and explore enablers, accelerators and risk mitigators that build capacity in local communities to advance social and economic well-being for all people;
• Capture “proof points” in support of APHSA's efforts to influence modern H/HS policy and practice; and
• Further the Council’s 2019 Action Plan and priorities in alignment with the APHSA Strategic Playbook.
You do not want to miss this unique opportunity to collaborate with city and county H/HS leaders and experience collective learning around the shared vision of creating thriving communities built on human potential.
The Retreat is an invite-only event reserved for local H/HS agency executives, their senior staff and key community partners. Seating is limited to two (2) seats per agency to accommodate as many as possible.
