Eboni Washington is the Director of Government and Community Relations for Action for Child Protection, a non-profit organization that provides technical assistance to child welfare agencies around the country. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing legislative and regulatory changes, empowering leaders, managing government contracts, and partnering to shape Action’s public policy strategies.
An experienced Human Services leader with over two decades in non-profit and local government, Eboni spent over 18 years at the Departments of Juvenile Justice Services and Family Services in Clark County, Las Vegas, Nevada, most recently as Deputy Director. During her time there, she was promoted several times, oversaw direct and supportive services, and held various roles focused on community-based justice and child welfare programs.
Eboni led initiatives designed to transform services provided to children and families in Southern Nevada. Most notably, Eboni oversaw expansion of Clark County’s juvenile assessment center, and the implementation of multiple technological solutions designed to streamline business processes for front-line case managers, and ensure quality information collection and data reporting, all aimed at enhancing community outcomes. A passionate collaborator, advocate, and strategist, Eboni is dedicated to creating solutions that build thriving communities and advance outcomes for underserved populations. She received certification as a business analyst from The George Washington University, a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Eboni has also served on various local and national boards and committees.
