Director of Policy & Government Relations

The Director of Policy & Government Relations works directly with state and local human services leaders, other national associations, researchers and academia, philanthropy, private companies, and community-based organizations to refine, align and advance the Association’s policy and practice priorities. Additionally, this role leads strategy and engagement with Congress and the federal Administration in furtherance of APHSA member priorities. The Director works in coordination with the CEO and VP of Policy and Membership to further member priorities and oversee direct policy team interactions at the programmatic level.   


Data & Technology Innovation Manager

The Data & Technology Innovation Manager will manage data and technology-focused projects within APHSA’s Process Innovation portfolio. The position will work directly with state health, human services, and labor agencies – as well as their partners – to develop and implement technology-enabled initiatives that lead to customer-centered improvements to program delivery. This position will also liaise with APHSA learning communities focused on digital and technical innovations and partner networks to foster relationships and broaden the reach of APHSA’s efforts to support technology and process innovation within human services agencies.
