Raffaele is the Vice President of Professional Services at the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA). Born and raised in Naples, Italy, he is a former IT professional who spent the last 20 years helping Associations pursue their mission. Raffaele strongly believes in the importance of life-long learning and the idea that professional societies have a responsibility to ensure that the field they represent is composed of trained, informed professionals, and that developing human capital is an important strategic function for every competitive organization.
After spending 11 years as an IT consultant and honing his skills delivering business and IT services, Raffaele spent the last 18 years working for non-profits, both Professional and Trade associations, formulating and leading strategic initiatives, developing products, and overseeing programs that enhanced the member value, engagement, and experience, and ensured positive ROI for the Association. Raffaele is a Certified Association Executive (ASAE), holds an Innovation Strategist Certificate from Cornell University, and a Business Analyst Certificate from Villanova University.
