Donna L. Wilson, Ph.D., LPC

Dr. Wilson is currently the Director of Operations & Community Engagement for Child and Family Services at the Mental Health Center of Denver where she oversees the community-based clinical programs, ensures a seamless operational structure and maximizes strategic community impact.

Dr. Wilson has more than 30 years of progressive experience in human services, including delivering executive leadership to multi-faceted, complex projects and extensive experience in protective services throughout the lifespan, ranging from birth to end of life. Her areas of expertise include data-informed decision making; data collection and analysis; diversity, equity, and inclusion; cultural competence and responsiveness; clinical assessment and evaluation; child abuse prevention; safety, risk and family assessment; child protection therapy; adult protective services; policy development and evaluation; organizational and workforce development.

Dr. Wilson is also a curriculum developer, and her work has been published in two peer-reviewed journals and a book chapter. Additionally, she serves as a local and national consultant and trainer, and a board member for the WINGS Foundation, Inc.

Dr. Wilson received her Bachelor of Science from Tuskegee University, and both her Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Colorado of Denver.
