Who We Are

IT Solutions Management for Human Services (ISM) is a group of Health and Human Services Information Technology (IT) professionals representing federal, state, and local governments, from the U.S., its Territories, Canada, other countries, as well as the private sector.

Our Purpose

We foster ideas and promote solutions that support the mission and vision of human services programs: building well-being from the ground up. ISM focuses on data-reliant and evidence informed programs and services that can enable better, faster results, provide more targeted interventions, address structural inequities, and reduce costs. We promote best practices in information technology by sharing innovative solutions, connecting IT professionals, and collaborating with our private sector partners. We also work with state and local health and human services entities and federal agencies to improve policies, processes, and procedures.
