Senior Meetings Manager

Maurine Jones serves as the Senior Meetings Manager for the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA). With 15 years of experience in creating and executing successful event experiences, Maurine provides meeting management support with our Membership & Events Team. Good at wearing multiple hats, Maurine is adept at responding quickly to changing circumstances, always maintaining an upbeat, can-do attitude. She uses her trademark skills of problem solving, creativity, and flexibility to help produce successful conferences. Her dedication and commitment for customer service nurtures positive, productive relationships with APHSA and their members.

Prior to joining APHSA, Maurine contributed her talents in Event Operations as an Account Executive at the Baltimore Convention Center where she managed over 30 events a year including tradeshows, galas, sporting events, and medical meetings.

Maurine received a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Management from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and a certificate in meeting planning from Temple University. She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated as well as the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) and Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).

When not in planning events, you can find her cooking vegan meals, practicing her photography, and being a dog mom to her Olde English Bulldogge, Zoe.
