Nina Darby

Manager, Human Resources

Nina Darby is the Manager of Human Resources at the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA). In her role, Nina manages the routine functions of the Human Resources department including administering pay, benefits, and enforcing company policies and practices. She also partners with the Chief Human Resources Officer to ensure a high functioning and effective workplace, manage the life cycle of employees, and execute HR compliance and strategy.

Prior to joining APHSA, Nina continued her talents in the HR and Operations as a Human Resources and Operations Specialist at Rising Tide Interactive where she created an internship program, managed office administration, administered benefits, improved onboarding/offboarding experiences, and managed asset inventory.

Nina received a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Rust College and a Master of Communication Specialist with a minor in Business from Alabama A&M University. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.
