Michelle is the Senior Grant Initiative Manager for APHSA. She is a nonprofit and public sector leader with more than 20 years of experience advancing workforce development, economic mobility, and health equity initiatives nationwide. She specializes in building high-impact programs, leading cross-sector partnerships, and strengthening organizational strategy.
Previously, Michelle served as Interim President and Vice President of Program Operations at The Moriah Group, where she directed a $1.75 million national health equity grant program supporting organizations across 12 states and strengthened internal systems to improve efficiency and impact.
Her prior roles include senior leadership positions at Mathematica, The Forum for Youth Investment, and the U.S. Department of Labor, where she managed multi-million-dollar grant portfolios and national technical assistance initiatives.
Michelle holds a BA from Rutgers University, an MPA from the University of Pittsburgh, and is a dedicated Girl Scout Troop Leader in Washington, DC. When she is not leading initiatives and change, Michelle likes to be outdoors. She loves to travel, hike, camp, try new teas and coffees, go to museums and festivals.
